We often say, “It’s all about the kids,” but do we really know the effect our efforts are having on individual student learning?

Before you implement that new initiative,  what is your plan for truly measuring impact, particularly on specific students who will be participating—in the next year and into future years?  The most thorough analysis of impact looks much further down the road for long-term results, which then raises the question:   “How do you keep track and monitor that special collection of students?”

DecisionEd provides this power to create an identifiable cohort of any group of students that is the key to monitoring individual student  progress for long-term outcomes, well beyond the grouping by traditional structures (grade level, classroom or school).

What about last year’s initiatives?  Why not continue to monitor performance in the upcoming year for each group of students who were engaged in the program last year—or even analyze progress of students who were ever in the initiative?  You could even compare progress of these students to a similar control group who did not participate in the program or initiative.

Since very few initiatives or programs provide immediate, measurable results, this ability to capture any specific cohort of students desired and track over many years is an extremely valuable tool.

Here are just a few ideas of possible groups that would allow long-term analysis:

  • Mentoring programs
  • Hybrid learners
  • Extracurricular activities
  • Specialized Curriculum
  • MTSS populations
  • Credit recovery
  • High school graduation year
  • Instructional initiatives
  • Student groups with non-certified teachers or with disrupted learning

In this webinar, you’ll discover what it takes to measure the effectiveness of programs, initiatives, and pilot programs down to the individual student level through insightful dashboard and reports. Here’s what you can expect:

  • In-depth Exploration of Longitudinal Analysis of groups of students: Gain insights into how DecisionEd empowers you to define and track groups of students over time, transforming your approach to program evaluation.
  • Hands-on Workshop Exploring Examples: Experience firsthand how DecisionEd enables you to track student groups effortlessly through interactive dashboards.
  • Persistent Groups for Long-term Tracking: Learn about persistent groups, allowing you to track outcomes over extended time periods effectively.
